One of our best-loved features is “Saved Search.” It essentially searches for you while you sleep–if something gets listed within the parameters you set, eBay will send you an email alert.
Let’s use one of my favorite searches as an example…cloisonne by Fabienne Jouvin. The items I want rarely get listed on eBay so I’ve set up a saved search for “Fabienne Jouvin” so I know when new items are listed.
You can choose whether or not you want an email communication and how long to keep the saved search for.
You’re all set! Now you’ll start receiving emails from eBay with the subject “eBay Saved Search: Fabienne Jouvin.” eBay only sends out 1 email per day (mine usually arrive around 9:30 a.m. PST) so if several items were recently listed they’ll all be within the 1 email.
You can manage your saved searches within My eBay. Here’s the quickest way to get to them:
Once you’re in My eBay you can also find your Saved Searches under the “Organize” menu.

Some buyers who I’ve talked with use bookmarks to save their searches. If you’re a bookmark person, try this out and let me know which you prefer: ivanka@ebay.com.
